and Prejudice. Jane Austen was so right. About both of them, they go hand in hand always. Even in such things as supporting your country’s cinema. Jesus Christ, I know Where The Wild Things Are is going to be amazing. I wouldn’t doubt it. But Miente means so much more to me. First and foremost, because I had never even heard of Wild Things. I was an Encyclopedia of Short Stories from all over the world kinda girl.
Anyways, back to where I was heading. Of course its gonna be better, its a cuter story. With that special indie quirkyness that only movies like that can provide. But Miente, is a different sort of thing. It’s a Puertorrican film to start, and for someone who is studying cinematography its imperative that they know about cinema all over the world, but most importantly from their own country. I swallowed my pride, and admitted I was wrong about the movies that are made here. I used to think they were all shit, but I now admit I was wrong. And that I couldn’t base that judgment on one or two films. Without realizing that there are plenty of movies, and that most of them are really good.
Miente is the best I’ve seen so far. It’s beautiful, everything from the camera shots to the editing, to the writing and acting. It was all so incredibly good. I am so proud to know that I’ve met people involved. And to have perceived that passion from them, to be inspired by them. It’s such a smart movie, it didn’t disappoint me at all. It was everything I expected it to be, if not more. And I support it, 100%. If you want to stay in closed mindedness and base your knowledge on the review of El Nuevo Día. Fine, go the fuck ahead. 3 clouds el culo de Fortuño. Miente gets a whole storm of clouds from me.
I used to sleep-play cards.

Sign of obsession, yes, perhaps. For said reason, I do not play briscas anymore.
Paranormal Activity was funny.
The real shit is that I’m scared of:
- 3:00 AM For obviously reason, if you’ve seen, heard or know about the supernatural/paranormal.
- October 11 - Fucking scared shitless of October 11 for some reason always have.
Javier Avila es mi nuevo héroe. En serio, es de los tipos más honest and in your face que he tenido el placer de conocer. Me queria quedar más tiempo para hablar con el, Rafi Mercado, y el guionista de Miente, pero tenia clase. Si no, I would have been all up in there, talking to them about everything.
